Lockport Community Television, Inc.
LCTV
For over 25 years, the City and Town of Lockport have enjoyed a cable television facility dedicated exclusively to serving our communities. LCTV is a not-for-profit organization that administers channels reserved for local programming on the Time Warner cable system.

LCTV offers access to one of the most powerful communications tool of our age: television. Community channels provide an electronic forum to express social and political concerns, as well as the opportunity to share valuable information with friends and neighbors.

Award-winning and nationally recognized for excellence in community service and programming, LCTV highlights the best Lockport has to offer: music and arts programming, local high school, college and professional sports, hearings and political debates, weekly live, call-in talk shows and much more…

LCTV provides all of the necessary training, equipment and channel time, free of charge, to individuals and not-for-profit groups on a first-come, first-served non-discriminatory basis. All programs produced at LCTV are then aired on one of three channels on the Lockport cable system, channel 20, 21 or 22.

Volunteers are the reason LCTV is a success! Join us for exciting training sessions using state-of-the-art TV equipment. Adult classes are designed for flexibility – you learn only the skills you are interested in, taking additional classes when you are ready. Choose from studio cameras, audio, graphics, portable production and editing. A special Summer Youth Program offers teens, ages 13 to 18, a unique opportunity to learn television. An LCTV Orientation session is a prerequisite to training and is scheduled several times throughout the year and is free of charge. It’s the way to start, call us at 716-434-1733 for details.
